GXS Bank launches the GXS Credit Card, designed in collaboration with Grab and Singtel
SINGAPORE, 17 August 2026 — GXS Bank officially launched the GXS Credit Card, an unlimited cashback credit card issued in partnership with Visa.
Given that Grab and Singtel’s services are used by millions of Singaporeans daily, the GXS Credit Card is especially designed to stretch the value of every dollar that consumers spend within its ecosystem.
GXS Credit Cardholders earn up to 10 per cent rebate in the form of GrabCoins for every eligible transaction that they make on Grab, such as transport, food delivery and groceries. GrabCoins can be used to offset the cost of eligible Grab transactions, such as food orders and Grab rides. They also enjoy a flat 1.75 per cent cashback when they pay for their Singtel bills. Customers can enjoy cashback from the first dollar they spend on Grab and Singtel as there is no minimum spend requirement.
For all other spends, GXS Credit Cardholders earn a flat 1.75 per cent cashback. There is no limit to the amount of cashback that they can earn with the only requirement being a minimum spend of S$500 within their monthly billing cycle.
Ms Pei-Si Lai, Group CEO, GXS Bank, said, “Our ecosystem strength has been GXS Bank’s secret sauce from day one. Beyond the resources, support and network of Grab and Singtel, the insights that we glean from ecosystem data has enabled us to create products and experiences that are woven seamlessly into Grab and Singtel’s user journeys.
We want to make sure that every transaction counts for consumers when they use Grab and Singtel. For ecosystem customers who want to earn unlimited cashback from their very first dollar when they spend on Grab or pay their Singtel bills, the GXS Credit Card is the only card that they need.”
Stretching the dollar on everyday Grab and Singtel spends
To ensure that the GXS Credit Card resonates with customers within the ecosystem, GXS Bank ran a beta programme with more than 1,000 customers for a month. During this time, more than 90 per cent of beta testers used the GXS Credit Card for their Grab and Singtel payments to enjoy the ease of earning cashback without the hassle of multiple requirements or reward caps. Active beta testers who used the GXS Credit Card received an average of S$18 in cashback and GrabCoins-equivalent during the month-long beta programme.
Tiffany Yeoh, a Grab and Singtel customer and beta participant, said, “As a cashback hunter, I have multiple credit cards that I use to optimise the cashback on each card. Using the GXS Credit Card has been a breath of fresh air because I do not need to worry about hitting a cashback limit.
Signing up and using the credit card was so easy. I did not have to add the card to my Grab app as it appeared automatically once my application was approved. As a frequent Grab user, GrabCoins helps me to stretch my food budget as I can use it to offset my meals. The ability to earn unlimited cashback without a minimum sum requirement for Singtel bills is also a strong proposition for me as a Singtel customer.”
Signing up for the GXS Credit Card can be done on the GXS app. Grab customers can also sign up for and use the card immediately through their Grab app. Enabling consumers to sign up for a bank-issued credit card through a third-party app is a first for Singapore and demonstrates the seamless integration of GXS Bank’s services within Grab.
In celebration of the launch of the GXS Credit Card, the first 1,000 customers who order a physical GXS Credit Card from 18 August 2026, 12pm SGT will receive a limited-edition card. Customers can make the order for a physical card within their GXS app.
