Terms and conditions governing Extra Huat 2023 Campaign (“Promotion”)

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”):

A. Promotion

1. Promotion Period: The Promotion is available from 20 January 2023 to 31 March 2023 (both dates inclusive) or any such date(s) as may be determined and notified by GXS Bank Pte. Ltd. ("GXS" or "Bank") in its sole discretion ("Promotion Period").

2. Eligibility

  1. The Promotion is available to you if:
    i. you maintain a GXS Savings Account during the Promotion Period;
    ii. your GXS Savings Account is linked as a payment method on your Grab app and/or Singtel Dash app until the point(s) of fulfilment of Rewards Points (as defined below); and
    iii. your GXS Savings Account is active and in good standing with the Bank until the point(s) of fulfilment of Rewards Points for this Promotion,

    (each an “Eligible Customer”).
  2. You will not be an Eligible Customer for this Promotion for any new GXS Savings Account you successfully open, if you held and closed a GXS Savings Account previously.


3. Promotion and how to participate:

  1. Under this Promotion, GrabRewards points and/or Dash Reward points (collectively, "Rewards Points") will be awarded to Eligible Customers who successfully fulfil the requirements of the Promotion ("Successful Customers"). 
  1. An Eligible Customer can become a Successful Customer and receive Rewards Points for a Qualifying Period under the Promotion, if you:
    i. maintain a total day end balance of at least S$4,288 in your GXS Savings Account for every day of a Qualifying Period; and
    ii. fulfil the Eligible Transaction requirements on the Grab app and/or Singtel Dash app for the same Qualifying Period.
  2. Maintaining a total day end balance of S$4,288 in your GXS Savings Account means that you must have at least S$4,288 in total funds in your Main Account and all Saving Pockets at 23:59:59 hours of the calendar day.
  3. Eligible Customers are eligible to receive Rewards Points for up to (3) Qualifying Periods under the Promotion. Eligible Customers can receive Rewards Points for a Qualifying Period(s) even if they are not Successful Customers for other Qualifying Period(s).

    Rewards Points - GrabRewards points
  4. To receive GrabRewards points for a Qualifying Period, an Eligible Customer must:
    i. maintain a total day end balance of at least S$4,288 in their GXS Savings Account for every day of that Qualifying Period; and
    ii. perform at least one (1) Grab Eligible Transaction during that Qualifying Period.
  5. Successful Customers for each Qualifying Period will receive the following GrabRewards points:

  1. Rewards Points will be credited to Successful Customers within 7 working days after the end of the applicable Qualifying Period in which the requirements of the Promotion are fulfilled, in the following manner:
    i. GrabRewards points will be fulfilled and credited by Grab, directly into the Grab account which the Eligible Customer has linked to their GXS Savings Account, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Grab; and
    ii. only if GrabRewards points are being awarded by Grab in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions and/or discretion of Grab for such a transaction, notwithstanding that a payment is an Eligible Transaction under these Terms.

    Rewards Points - Dash Reward points
  2. In addition, to receive Dash Rewards points for a Qualifying Period, an Eligible Customer must:
    i. maintain a total day end balance of at least S$4,288 in their GXS Savings Account for every day of that Qualifying Period; and
    ii. perform at least one (1) Dash Eligible Transaction during that Qualifying Period.
  3. Successful Customers for each Qualifying Period will receive the following Dash Reward points:

  1. Rewards Points will be credited to Successful Customers within 7 working days after the end of the applicable Qualifying Period in which the requirements of the Promotion are fulfilled, in the following manner:
    i. Dash Reward points will be fulfilled and credited by Singtel, directly into the Dash account which the Eligible Customer has linked to their GXS Savings Account, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Singtel; and
    ii. only if Dash Reward points are being awarded by Singtel in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions and/or discretion of Singtel for such a transaction, notwithstanding that a payment is an Eligible Transaction under these Terms.
B. Definitions
  • "Total day end balance" in a GXS Savings Account means the aggregate of funds held in the GXS Savings Account (i.e. funds in the Main Account and all Saving Pockets) as at 23:59:59 hours of the calendar day.
  • "Singtel" or "Singtel Dash" means SingCash Pte. Ltd.
  • "Dash Eligible Transaction" means a payment made for selected transactions and/or merchants (as determined by Singtel) with the Dash app using funds from your linked GXS Savings Account, or any other transaction types that the Bank may specify from time to time.
  • "Dash Reward points" means Dash Reward points fulfilled and credited by Singtel, directly into the Dash account which you have linked to your GXS Savings Account, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Singtel.
  • "Grab" means GPay Network (S) Pte. Ltd.
  • "Grab Eligible Transaction" means a payment made for Grab Transport, Food, Mart and Express within the Grab app using your linked GXS Savings Account as a funding source, or any other transaction types that the Bank may specify from time to time.
  • "GrabRewards points" means GrabRewards points fulfilled and credited by Grab, directly into the Grab account which you have linked to your GXS Savings Account, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Grab.
  • "GXS Savings Account" means the GXS Savings Account, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found at https://www.gxs.com.sg/save.
  • "Qualifying Period” means each of the following periods during the Promotion Period, both dates inclusive, from:
    a. 20 January 2023 to 31 January 2023 (12 days);
    b. 1 February 2023 to 28 February 2023 (28 days);
    c. 1 March 2023 to 31 March 2023 (31 days).

    If you are an Eligible Customer who successfully opens a GXS Savings Account during a Qualifying Period, then notwithstanding the foregoing, your applicable start date for that Qualifying Period shall be and include the date on which you successfully open the GXS Savings Account. The end date of the Qualifying Period shall continue to be as stated above.
C. Additional Terms for Rewards Points
  • Rewards Points are issued on a first-come-first served basis and are while stocks last.
  • Limited to one (1) award of GrabRewards points and one (1) award of Dash Reward points per Successful Customer per Qualifying Period. Limited to three (3) awards of GrabRewards points and three (3) awards of Dash Reward points per Successful Customer under this Promotion.
  • Rewards Points shall be redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of Grab and Singtel. By using the Rewards Points, the Eligible Customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the relevant merchant issuing the Rewards Points.
  • The Bank is not the supplier of the Rewards Points, voucher(s), good(s) and service(s) and makes no representation or warranty as to the quality, merchantability and/or fitness of purpose of the Rewards Points, voucher(s), good(s) and service(s) provided by any merchant or service provider. The Bank assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchants or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects in the Rewards Points, voucher(s), good(s) and/or service(s).
  • The Bank is not an agent of the merchants. Any issues or disputes relating to Grab, such as GrabPay and GrabRewards points (including the fulfilment or crediting of GrabRewards points and/or goods and/or services redeemed), should be resolved directly with Grab. Issues relating to the Grab app, including maintenance and support issues, malfunctions, or claims relating to the Grab app, should be resolved directly with Grab. Any issues or disputes relating to Singtel Dash, such as Dash Wallet Account and Dash Rewards (including the fulfilment or crediting of Dash Reward Points and/or goods and/or services redeemed), should be resolved directly with Singtel. Issues relating to the Dash app, including maintenance and support issues, malfunctions, or claims relating to the Dash app, should be resolved directly with Singtel.
  • If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Promotion were not met or complied with, the Bank reserves the right to recover the equivalent value of the GrabRewards points and/or Dash Reward points (as the case may be) awarded by deduction from your GXS Savings Account or any account you maintain with us.
  • The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute the Reward Points (or any part(s) thereof) with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
  • The Bank is not an agent of Grab or Singtel Dash. The Bank holds a banking licence and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The Bank is a separate entity from the Grab Financial Group entities and Singtel Group entities. The Bank is the provider of the GXS Savings Account.
  • Terms and conditions of Grab and Singtel Dash, as determined by them from time to time, shall apply. The Bank’s terms and conditions are separate from the terms and conditions of Grab and Singtel Dash. The Bank is not responsible for the terms and conditions, or any changes to the terms and conditions, of Grab or Singtel Dash.
D. General
  • This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.
  • The Bank may add to, amend, modify or vary any or all of these Terms at any time without notice or liability to any person.
  • The Bank’s records and decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion (including but not limited to the eligibility of any person to participate in the Promotion and the awarding of any cashback, voucher or item) shall be final, conclusive and binding on all customers. We are not obliged to entertain any correspondence.
  • In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms shall prevail.
  • The Bank, employees and/or independent contractors shall not be liable for any loss, liability, expense, damage and/or injury whatsoever or howsoever incurred or sustained by any person by reason of, arising from or in connection with the Promotion including the redemption or use of any good, service, product or facility of any merchant (if applicable) or for any other reason.
  • The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.
  • These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
  • A third party who is not a party to these Terms shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Terms.
  • These Terms shall apply in conjunction with the Deposit Account Terms, Ecosystem Terms - Grab and Ecosystem Term - Singtel Dash, which shall apply.

Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
